| The Gate of Hell |
Just as the heaven of the Mohammedan is full of delight, their hell is full of terror. The wicked suffer alternately from extreme cold to extreme heat. When they feel thirsty, they are given boiling which they must drink. The dark mansions of hell descend, one below each other, in a dismal downward line.
